Below are the timings of the four contacts during the Venus transit on June 8, 2004, as predicted at different geographical locations.
Please note that they are given in Universal Time (UT). To obtain the timings in Local Time, you must add or subtract the difference between your Local Time and Universal Time. In Europe, most countries will be 2 hours ahead of UT, i.e., the timings in Local Time can be found by adding 2 hrs to the indicated timings in UT. For example, in Munich, the predicted time of the third contact is 11 04 01 + 2 hrs = 13 04 01 hrs Central European Summer Time (CEST).
"--" means that the Sun and Venus are below the horizon at this moment and that this particular contact cannot be observed form that site.
