Tourist and Student Visits / Visitas Estudiantiles y Turísticas

Galaxy 1223 by ESO La Silla Paranal Observatory Tourists and Student visits are scheduled generally for the last two weekends of every month, except December, with a few exceptions. These visits are free-of-charge, you just need to arrive on Paranal via your own mode of transportation. You should arrive 30 minutes prior to start time. Please consider two hours travel time from Antofagasta. The tours last approximately two and one half hours.

For large groups, you must register as far in advance as possible as there is limited space. Please complete the Visitors Form, or contact Paranal at the phone number

Las visitas turísticas y estudiantiles están programadas para los dos últimos fines de semana de cada mes, excepto durante diciembre de cada año -- con algunas excepciones. Las visitas no tienen costo, solamente deben llegar a Paranal via su propio modo de transporte. Deben llegar 30 minutos antes de comenzar el tour. Favor considerar dos horas de viaje desde Antofagasta.

Para grupos mas grandes, las reservas deben hacerse con la mayor anticipación posible ya que los cupos son limitados. Sírvase llenar la Solicitud de Visitas, o contactar a Paranal al 56.55.435335.
